spice bush swallowtail missing orange spot on third spot near blue bottom left....

Spicebush......notice the orange spot row to our left, closest to the flower. From the bottom working upward, one orange spot is missing (it would have been the third one, but is blue here). Black Swallowtail will have a continuous, unbroken row of orange spots.

its so subtle. lol its not so big that its second nature for me to see the glaring difference. I am still gawking at the two and not really seeing whats missing.

they look pretty close to me, do the internal wings also have something lacking or is it just the external orange spot missing?

oh the third spot near the blue lol, I was thinking of the very top of the wing lol where the bottom piece joins the tip only the tip isn't supposed to have orange lol, I was thinking one of the trails lol, it really isn't that obvious unless you are looking there, I was thinking along the eigth ridge at the very top lol. I can't believe I over looked that, I was really concentrating on thinking a spot was supposed to be in a different place its not.
